Our client is a well-known plastics distributor for the Automotive sector, Electrics and
Electronics, and Home Appliance. We are helping them expand and strengthen their
team in the South of Europe and are looking for an experienced Technical
Development Engineer to support and develop the sales of the whole portfolio of
polymers in the region.
They are recognised for our excellent technical support offering. Their Technical
Development Engineer team has unrivalled knowledge in polymer technology – from
combining the best material selection with the best design to achieve maximum part
performance and optimised production, to process troubleshooting and
problem-solving. A comprehensive range of polymers, it is always the right material
for the job. Their suppliers demand the best support for their polymers, and
customers demand we bring it to them.
The person:
We are looking for a technical person experienced in polymer materials, design,
development, and processing, with a proven track record and experience in delivering
and supporting sales growth with customers through technical support.
● You enjoy interacting with customers, positively trying to maximize customer
visits – after all, you recognize the importance of building strong and enduring
customer relationships – this is where you bring value, and this is how you
find and create opportunities.
● You want to be the first and the last call the customer makes for any project or
problem – and delivering the solution. Finding, creating, and commercializing
opportunities is what you do
To succeed:
● You will need to be self-driven, resilient, and have a positive can-do attitude.
● A relevant degree in polymers/engineering/technology is a serious advantage,
however proven experience is essential.
● You may also have commercial and sales skills and experience (or have
ambitions in these areas) as well terrific! We could support you and modify
the role for you accordingly.
● Must be fluent in Spanish or French and English. Other language skills are a
welcome advantage..
